10U (Minors) Softball

10U (Minors) Softball is typically for girls 9-10 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of hitting, throwing and fielding. In 10U Softball, players hit a ball thrown by a live pitcher. CLL's main focus at this age is teaching the girls proper hitting technique and t0 make solid contact with the ball. Also important at this age group is aggressive base running. Defensively, there are 9 kids on the field. The main objective for defense is learning how to field the ball, where the ball should be thrown, and how to defend against the running game of other teams.
